Postdoctoral fellows and postdoctoral research associates are a vital component of the Department. They often bring unique backgrounds and skills, while at the same time that they learn from the laboratories they have joined. They are an especially valuable resource for the students, both for their scientific knowledge and for their experience on making the step to the next stage of a scientific career. The postdoctoral fellows in the Department of Molecular Pharmacology and Biological Chemistry participate and present their research in the weekly Department morning seminar series, and in this way become known to the entire Department.
